The World Health Organization has issued a level 6 pandemic notice for the H1N1 influenza strain; which indicates a worldwide pandemic, and is the highest level on their scale. It is currently in Asia, and is considered an 'out of season' event. The experts estimate that it will take some 6 months to get here, which will put it at the height of our flu season.
